Celebrating Jack: Our Apprentice Shines

It’s always exciting to share good news—especially when it shows the hard work of our team here in North Somerset.

One of our apprentices, Jack Winstone, has won a £1,000 bursary from the Worshipful Company of Plumbers, in partnership with Monument Tools. This is a national award. Only a few plumbing and heating apprentices receive it each year, so it’s a fantastic achievement.

Supporting Plumbing & Heating Apprenticeships

Jack is in his third year as a Plumbing & Heating apprentice. He’s developing the skills needed for modern heating systems, including renewable technologies like heat pumps.

The bursary will help him buy professional tools. These tools will support his training and give him a strong foundation in the trade. Early access to the right tools makes a big difference—not just in the quality of work, but also in confidence and career progression.
